Kiwanis Club of Tinley Park Peanut Day

Hillcrest High School Key Club members spent a sunny afternoon assisting the Kiwanis Club of Tinley Park with their annual peanut day.
The Kiwanis Club appreciated the extra help and said that the Hillcrest kids were a pleasure to work with. "It was fun to get involved and collect for a great cause. We enjoyed talking to the motorists and laughing with them. Everyone was so nice and wanted to know why we are there and where we were from. I was happy to help,"said Danielle Hussey,Key Club member.
Kiwanis Club is a global service organization with the focus on serving children and the community.Key Club is an International student-led organization, which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership.
The Kiwanis' Peanut days is a large fund raiser with every penny going back to the community. Thank you Hillcrest Key club members and Ms. Trench for donating their time to such a great cause.
